Number of total cases reached above 1.20 crore
According to the Ministry of Health. 37,028 people recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours and 271 people have died in the same period. Now the total number of corona cases in the country has gone to one crore 20 lakh 95 thousand 855. So far, one crore 13 lakh 93 thousand 21 people have been cure and a total of one lakh 62 thousand 114 people have lost their lives due to this disease. The situation has become worrying in states like Maharashtra, Karnataka and Punjab.
With this, the Ministry inform that so far 6 crore 11 lakh 13 thousand 354 people have been vaccinate in the country. The Union Health Ministry said that due to the increase in the number of corona virus infected even on the 20th day. The number of under-treated patients in the country increased to five lakh 40 thousand 720. According to the ministry, this is 4.47 per cent of the total cases. Due to which the recovery rate of patients has now come down to 94.19 per cent.
Death from Covid-19 in the country is 1.34%.
Covid cases in India had crossed 20 lakh on August 7. After this, cases of infection had crossed 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September and 50 lakh on 16 September. Epidemic infection cases crossed 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October, 90 lakh on 20 November and 10 million on 19 December.
Instructions to private hospitals, keep 80 percent beds for corona patients
The Brihanmumbai Municipality (BMC) has issued an order for private hospitals in view of the condition of corona infection in Mumbai, the country’s financial capital. Under this, private hospitals will have to keep 80 percent beds and 100 percent ICU beds reserved for corona patients.
