The number of active patients decreased to 1,37,416.
After 12,516 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in India in a day, the number of infected in the country increased to 3,44,14,186. At the same time, the number of patients under treatment decreased to 1,37,416, which is the lowest in 267.
According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Friday, the death toll rose to 4,62,690 after 501 more people died of the infection.
The recovery rate from Coronavirus is 98.26 percent.
The daily cases of Covid-19 in the country for 35 consecutive days are less than 20 thousand and for 138 days less than 50 thousand daily cases are being reported. The number of patients under treatment has also come down to 1,37,416, which is 0.40 percent of the total cases. This rate is the lowest since March 2020. In the last 24 hours, there has been a decrease in the number of patients under treatment by 1,140. The national recovery rate of patients is 98.26 percent, which is the highest since March 2020.
