NCB refuses to make ‘Bollywood list’ in drugs case based on Rhea Chakraborty’s statement: Report

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which has arrested actress Rhea Chakraborty and others on charges of involvement in the Sushant Singh Rajput case involving drugs, has denied that she had 25 A-listers in the film industry during questioning Names of, who ate and drugs with the late actor.

It was recently reported that the Central Investigation Agency had prepared a list of celebs taking drugs from Rhea’s confession, which included the names of Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan.

Now, NCB Deputy Director KPS Malhotra has denied making any such list of Bollywood celebrities. According to the Free Press Journal, Malhotra said, “We have not prepared any Bollywood list. The list prepared earlier was of pedestrians and smugglers. It is confusing with Bollywood.”

When asked about the reports, he said, “Names have not been zeroed in.” On Saturday,

Times Now reported that Rhea had asked Rakul and Sara to take drugs with her and Sushant at their Lonavala farmhouse.

Sushant and Sara appeared together in Kedarnath, the latter’s first film.

Bollywood celebrities surfaced in the media following reports of Rhea’s naming, sparking various rumours on the internet about Sara and Rakul’s calling by NCB.

However, the tweets were made by fake accounts and were later deleted.

Meanwhile, a Mumbai sessions court on Friday dismissed Rhea’s bail plea, along with her brother Showik and four others.

His bail plea was rejected by Judge GB Guru of special hearing cases filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Opposing his bail, Special Public Prosecutor Atul Serpande said that Rhea and Showik financed and arranged the drugs.

Rhea’s lawyer Satish Manashinde said

“all the six accused, including Samuel Miranda,

Deepesh Swant,

Abdul Basit and

Zaid Vilatra, were likely to be taken to Bombay High Court for bail.”
