PMO : It was decide to postpone the NEET UG 2021 Examination for a minimum of 4 months for the entrance examination for admission to the undergraduate course of medicine.

PMO : Prime Minister Modi on Monday finalized important decisions to increase the availability of medical personnel to deal with Covid-19. In the meeting, it was decide to postpone the NEET UG 2021 Examination for admission in medical undergraduate course for at least 4 months.

According to information received from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO),

NEET-PG was postpone for at least four months, which would provide a large number of qualified physicians for Covid-19 duty. Also, medical trainees will deployed for the management of Covid-19 under the supervision of their faculty. Medical students doing 100 days of Covid duty along with studies will get preference in government jobs.

PM Modi took several important decisions in the review meeting regarding Corona Management.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), MBBS final year students will be able to do tele-consultations. Medical interns will put on corona duty. MBBS final year students will put on covid duty. Along with this, medical workers doing 100 days of covid duty will be honored. Also, health workers who complete 100 days will get priority in government jobs.

According to information received from the Prime Minister’s Office, final year students of MBBS can  entrusted with the responsibility of advising the faculty of Covid-19, who are moderately infected, through telecom medium, and monitoring the health of the infected. Also, nurses passing BSC or GNM will posted full-time on nursing duties related to Covid-19 under the supervision of senior physicians.

Prime Minister’s prestigious Covid National Service Award will given to medical personnel who have completed 100 days of Covid-19 duty. Those who have completed 100 days in Covid-19 duty will given priority in regular government recruitment.
