CM Uddhav Thackeray : Maratha reservation has been discussed in this meeting of Uddhav Thackeray with the Prime Minister. In the past, the Supreme Court had struck down the Reservation Act of 2018 in Maharashtra to give reservation to the people of the Maratha community in jobs and education.
PM Modi and Uddhav’s meeting
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. During this, discussions are possible between the two leaders on issues like Maratha reservation and financial assistance for cyclone relief measures. Along with Uddhav, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Minister Ashok Chavan were also present in this meeting.
CM Uddhav Thackeray : Vaccine supply was discussed in the meeting
After the meeting with the Prime Minister, CM Uddhav said that all the states including Maharashtra need the vaccine at the earliest. He said that the Center had entrusted this responsibility to the states but the supply of vaccine was not good in the middle. He told that talks have held with the Prime Minister on issues related to Maratha reservation, ‘Car Shed’ of Metro, GST compensation.
Uddhav expressed the hope that after the announcement made by the Prime Minister on Tuesday, the bottlenecks in the supply of vaccine will removed. He said that we may be different politically but we have a relationship and I did not go to meet Nawaz Sharif who needed to hide anything.

Apart from this, issues like financial assistance for cyclone Toute relief measures. GST refund have also discussed with the Prime Minister. In this meeting, Ashok Chavan was also present with the Chief Minister. Who is the head of the cabinet sub-committee on Maratha reservation.
CM Uddhav Thackeray : First meeting with Sharad Pawar
Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning, before leaving for Delhi, CM Thackeray met NCP chief Sharad Pawar. The two leaders also met on Monday evening. Pawar has had three meetings with Thackeray in the last fortnight.
