VK Paul said – India will test the claim of one dose Sputnik vaccine
NITI Aayog member VK Paul said India would test Russia’s claims about a one-dose ‘Sputnik Light’ vaccine, effective in defending Covid-19. He said that two doses of small V vaccine are give at an interval of three weeks. Its specialty is that the antigen of the first and second doses are different from each other.
Paul said, “Two doses of Sputnik V vaccine are given at intervals of three weeks.
Its specialty is that the antigen of the first and second doses are different from each other. In other vaccines, both doses are the same. ”

Paul was asked whether the ‘Sputnik Light’ vaccine would be allowed to increase the speed of vaccination in India. Paul said that if the claim of the vaccine manufacturer is true, then it can help to double the speed of vaccination in India.
The number of under-treated patients has gone up to 36,45,164 among the ever increasing cases which is 16.96 percent of the total cases of infection while the national rate of recovery from Kovid-19 in the country has come down to 81.95 percent.
