The base ground of the Ram Mandir will be protected with granite. The purpose of covering the base of the temple with granite is to protect the foundation of the temple from water. The base ground of the temple is to be mainly made of red stone of Chunar. But red stone is considered to be water absorbing.

Then the construction of the next layer starts. 44 to 45 such layer is to laid in the foundation. Till now 18 layers have constructed and Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Trust. Along with filling of foundation has also started preparations to build a solid foundation like a solid foundation on top of the foundation.

According to Champat Rai, general secretary of Teerth Trust, a two meter high layer of concrete will be laid after the filling of the foundation with the suggestion of Tata Consultancy Engineers. So that the possibility of water seeping even a tiny bit in the foundation can eliminated. After the granite is laid, the foundation of Ram Mandir with several layers of red stone of Chunar will ready. About 20 feet high and there will attractive steps to reach it. According to the map fixed on this base land, a grand temple is to constructed.
