14-day home quarantine compulsory for those returning to Delhi from Kumbh Mela

Kumbh Mela : The government has made 14 home quarantine compulsory for Delhi residents returning from Kumbh Mela amidst increasing taxation cases in Delhi. The order said that those returning from Kumbh Mela between April 4 and 17 have to upload their details on the government website. DDMA has issued an order in this regard.

Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the national capital Delhi. Meanwhile, the Delhi government has issued an order mandating 14-day quarantine for all residents of Delhi. Returning from the fair in Haridwar. Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), GNCTD said that Delhiites returning from Kumbh Mela will have to stay home for 14 days.

The order further states that from April 4 to April 17, all the Delhi residents coming from the Kumbh  of Haridwar will have to upload the details on the link provided on the portal of the Delhi government. This will include name, address of Delhi, contact number, ID proof, date of arrival and arrival. At the same time, people going to the Kumbh Mela from April 17 to April 30 will also have to give these details.

Institutional Quarantine will be sent if details are not given

The order states that if any person returning to Delhi after going to Kumbh does not submit the details. Then he will be sent to the Institutional Government Quarantine for 14 days.

Quarantine will done for those returning from Kumbh Mela also in Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh government on Saturday directed all the district collectors to quarantine those returning from the Kumbh in Haridwar. The state government said that all the people coming from Kumbh will have to inform the district collector about their arrival.

Kumbh Mela : RT-PCR test mandatory for people coming from the fair in Gujarat

At the same time, the Gujarat government has made RT-PCR test mandatory for those returning from Kumbh. On Saturday, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that devotees returning to Gujarat from Kumbh in Haridwar will not given direct entry to their villages. All those returning from the fair will have to undergo RTPCR test.
