Anurag Kashyap asks PM Narendra Modi for his father’s birth certificate

After the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) came into force on January 10, Anurag Kashyap has once again voiced opposition. The filmmaker has now personally attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his family against the CAA after Parliament passed it on December 11.

The CAA facilitates non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan to obtain Indian citizenship.

Opposing it on Twitter, Kashyap launched a personal attack on Mr. Modi. Tweeting in Hindi, he demanded proof that Mr. Modi was educated, and gave his degree in Total Political Science.

Kashyap also said that Mr. Modi, along with his father and his entire family, should show his birth certificate to the nation, and only then can he ask for papers from citizens. The filmmaker used abusive hashtag # f **k CAA as a mark of protest.

In a tweet comparing the government to “dumb” and CAA to demonetization, the filmmaker shared: This government will talk if they know how to talk. They cannot face a single question that has not vetoed, and they have no plans, they have not created a system. It’s a dumb government. Their CAA is like demonetization. No plans No vision. Just bullying. # F ** k CAA.

Actor Swara Bhaskar also protested against the enforcement of CAA. Sharing the notification of the Gazette issued by the Union Home Ministry, Ecotra called it a black day for India. The Citizenship Amendment Act has come into force from January 10, 2020.
