Famous journalist Arnab Goswami was watching two platforms on Netflix, when stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra tried to interrupt him on a flight to IndiGo, repeatedly calling him a “coward”.
Singer Adnan Sami revealed this in a tweet on Sunday. I was talking to my dear friend ArnabGoswami and could not help asking him how he is so calm when a clown verbally assaults him. He said that since he is a massive fan of Anthony Hopkins, they were watching two.
I was just speaking to my dear friend #ArnabGoswami & couldn’t help asking him how he remained so calm while he was being verbally assaulted by a joker. He said that since he’s a huge fan of Anthony Hopkins, he was watching “Two Popes” on @NetflixIndia!!

In a viral video, which was shared by Kamra, the anchor also seen trying to avoid Kamra as the comic kept answering her some questions and repeatedly calling her “coward”. I am part of the rhyming story. It would help if you protected me. It would be best if you took down the enemies of the kingdom. You should make sure that the country is in safe hands, the humour heard, even the magazine remains
The entire episode was divided with some siding with journalists, while others were applauding Kamra for giving Goswami a taste of his medicine.
Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said the truth is that it was time when Goswami gave a taste of his medicine. Tharoor tweeted. These are words he regularly uses to harass his innocent victims, except that he does this on hectoring, bullying and at a higher volume and pitch than Kunal Kamra.
In the wake of the episode, IndiGo, GoAir, Air India and SpiceJet announced actions against Kamra, which led them to suspect flying in these airlines.
After the ban, even congress leader Rahul Gandhi was saying in support of the comic on Twitter, that the ban imposed on Kunal Kamra by four airlines is a cowardly act, who takes advantage of his influence with the government to silence a critic. Those who use their ‘news’ cameras as a 24×7 tool of publicity should show some spine when the camera turned on.
