The union says that this bandh has called against the policies of the government affecting the employees, farmers and common citizens.

MESMA implemented in Maharashtra

At the same time, amidst the Bharat Bandh, the Maharashtra government has implemented the Maharashtra Essential Services Maintenance Act (MESMA) on Sunday itself. So that government employees cannot join Bharat Bandh. Energy Minister Nitin Raut has confirmed the implementation of MESMA in Maharashtra. According to government sources, at present the consumption of electricity in Maharashtra has already increased and there is also a shortage of coal in the state.
