Film financier Yusuf Lakdawala has died in Arthur Road jail. Builder and film financier Yusuf Lakdawala was arrested by the ED in the hawala case. Now he was died in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail on Thursday. He was brought to the JJ Hospital in Mumbai in a dying condition.
Yusuf was admitted to the hospital around 12:00 noon. So far, it has not disclosed how he died. After the post-mortem of Yusuf Lakdawala, There is a possibility to know about this. According to sources, Yusuf Lakdawala was suffering from cancer.

By the time Yusuf Lakdawala was brought to the hospital, he had passed away. The hospital people have announced this at 12:00 noon. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had arrested Yusuf Lakdawala in May in a hawala case. He has accused that he has bought land worth Rs 50 crore in Khandala by making fake documents.

Yusuf Lakdawala was in judicial custody. Last month, the ED had appealed for dismissal of Yusuf Lakdawala’s bail application on medical grounds. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the court accepted it.
