Let us tell you, due to the dispute with Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu. Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh took a difficult decision to embark on a new political journey. Dismissing reports of behind-the-scenes talks with the Congress earlier on Saturday, ahead of the announcement of his barber party, the Captain had said the time for reconciliation was over and his decision to quit the party was final. Singh had already announced the formation of his political party.

Will Congress MLAs come along?
At the time of announcing the formation of a new party, Captain Amarinder gave another big statement. The Captain had claimed that many Congress people are in touch with him and he will come forward when the time comes. He had said, ‘Of course many people are in touch. We are waiting for the opportune moment but I will not reveal his name as my supporters are being harassed.” Asked how many MLAs are in touch with him, Singh had said, “Rahul Gandhi has to be sent to Congress MLAs from Punjab. What is the meaning of this?’ Punjab Assembly elections are due early next year, so it has to be seen what changes will the new political move of the Captain bring.
