After the meeting with Amit Shah in Delhi, which lasted for about 45 minutes. The market of speculation has heated up. However, it will not be an easy decision for Captain Amarinder to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Captain’s chances of joining the BJP seem slim because during his tenure as chief minister in Punjab and for the past one year. He has been repeatedly asking the Center to withdraw all three agricultural laws. He was always against agricultural laws. If you do this then it will be harmful for the captain himself.

According to sources, there will be a second meeting between Captain Amarinder Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah soon and with this the final talk will be in the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Will the agriculture law be back?

Captain Amarinder Singh can join BJP only if the central government withdraws all three agricultural laws. Or the farmers’ movement should end and the matters should resolved through talks with the government. However, the possibility of both these things seems very less. For the captain to come in BJP, first the agriculture law will have to abolished. Only then can the BJP benefit from the captain’s arrival.

Amidst all this speculation, a different strategy could be that instead of joining the BJP, the Captain should break ties with the Congress and form a separate front or party and enter the assembly elections. The way Shankar Singh Vaghela did in Gujarat, although Vaghela did not get the benefit in the elections then.
