PM Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 : CM Yogi Adityanath launched the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 on Wednesday. He also talked to the beneficiaries of different districts through the virtual platform. Under this scheme, 20 lakh women of the state will given gas connections.

Distributed free LPG connections to the beneficiaries of the second phase of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. CM Yogi also interacted with the beneficiaries of various districts through a virtual program from his official residence. He said that earlier people used to use sticks on people waiting in line for gas, but now this scheme of Prime Minister Modi has given a lot of benefit to the people.

Target to provide free LPG connections to one crore families.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath talked to the beneficiaries in different districts through a virtual program from his official residence. Yogi said that this scheme is a strong example of women empowerment, women have always been concerned about cooking the family’s food and the government has decided to distribute LPG connections free of cost to these women. Women who have forced to cook on wood and coal now have a better option. In the second phase of this scheme, a target has set to provide free cooking gas connections to one crore families in the country.
These districts have been given priority in this phase.
In Ujjwala Yojana 2.0, priority has given to 10 districts of the state. These include Banda, Chitrakoot, Hardoi, Amethi, Farrukhabad, Sonbhadra, Rae Bareli, Mahoba, Badaun and Fatehpur.
