Coronavirus : The pace of coronavirus is not taking its name to stop. The increase in the number of people getting infect with this virus has raise concern. Two and a half times more cases have found in the country than recovery. In the last 24 hours, 22,775 new cases of Covid-19 have reported in the country. Apart from this, 8,949 people have cured of this infection and a total of 406 people have died. Cases of the micron variant of the corona virus are also being found continuously in the country. At present, there are a total of 1,431 cases of this variant in the country. The number of active cases in the country at present is 1,04,781. Apart from this, the recovery rate is 98.32 percent.

More than 145 crore vaccine doses were given.

According to the information given by the central government, so far 145.16 crore vaccine doses have given in the country. The rate of people getting infected with this virus every day in the country is 2.05 percent. At the same time, people are getting infect with this infection every week at the rate of 1.10 percent. A total of 67.89 tests have done so far.

Omicron’s havoc

The Omicron variant of the corona virus has also created havoc. 1,431 cases of this variant have reported. These cases have reported in 23 states and union territories. Maharashtra currently has the highest number of cases of Omicron variants. After this, the outbreak of this variant has seen in states like Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Kerala.

How many Omicron cases?

Talking about the figures, Maharashtra has got the highest number of Omicron cases so far. There are 454 cases of this variant here. 351 in Delhi, 118 in Tamil Nadu, 115 in Gujarat, 109 in Kerala, 69 in Rajasthan, 62 in Telangana, 37 in Haryana, 34 in Karnataka, 17 in Andhra Pradesh, 17 in West Bengal, 14 in Odisha, 9 in Madhya Pradesh 8 cases have found in Uttar Pradesh, 4 in Uttarakhand, 3 in Chandigarh, 3 in Jammu and Kashmir and 2 in Andaman and Nicobar. Apart from this, 1-1 cases have found in Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Manipur and Punjab respectively.
