Coronavirus : The havoc of the third wave of coronavirus is increasing rapidly in the country. The new cases of corona, moving towards their peak, have reached two and a half lakhs. In this way, in just 6 days, the number of new cases of corona has increased by 150 percent. On Wednesday, a total of 2,47,417 new cases have been found across the country and with this the number of active cases has crossed 11 lakhs. However, it is a matter of relief that on Wednesday, more than 84 thousand patients have also recovered during the day. The situation is under control to some extent due to the increase in the number of recoveries along with the number of new cases.

The recovery rate from Coronavirus came down to 95.59%.

The percentage of active cases has also increased rapidly to 3.08% as compared to the total corona cases found so far. Apart from this, the daily positivity rate has now exceeded 13 percent. While the weekly positivity rate also remains beyond 10 percent. Not only this, the recovery rate, which was beyond 98 percent last month, has now come down to 95.59%.

More than 154 crore corona vaccines have administered.

However, it is a matter of relief that the pace of vaccination is fast in the country and so far more than 154 crore corona vaccines have been administered. Cases cross 5,400 for Omicron variant.

Meanwhile, the number of cases of Omicron variant in the country has increased rapidly to 5,488. At present, 2,162 people infected with Omicron have recovered. So far, the highest number of 1,367 cases of Omicron have found in Maharashtra. However, now Rajasthan is at number two instead of Delhi, where 792 cases of Omicron have found so far. Apart from this, there are 549 cases in Delhi. Kerala is at number four with 486 cases, while Karnataka is at number five with 479 cases.
