Devastating pictures show how Cyclone Nisarga wreaked havoc in Alibaug

Cyclone Nisarga hit Mumbai and neighboring areas on June 3 with a wind speed of 120 (km/h). Thousands of people have evacuated its path. Trains rescheduled, and flights were canceled. The fishermen were placed on standby, ordered out of the sea and rescue personnel. Nisarga exploded through the Arabian Sea, causing a landslide in the coastal city of Alibaug at around 12:30 pm. Officials expect the cyclone to fly by 4:00 pm.

Nisarga, which is expected to pause the coastline of Gujarat after being with Maharashtra. The cyclone in West Bengal and Odisha comes one week after the devastation of Aman. According to KS Hosalikar, the head of the India Meteorological Department, Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and Palghar were hit with winds of over 100 km/h.

The IMD estimates that the storm can affect winds moving at speeds up to 120 km/h as it continues. The coastal districts of the state received heavy winds with heavy to hefty rainfall.
