Opposition busy trying to make political land through peasant movement

Some parties, including the Congress, the Left, are trying to make their political land through this movement and are planning to give a nationwide form. In such a situation, instead of pulling back, the government is focusing on convincing the farmers and attacking political parties.

The political face behind the movement has started coming forward

The government is moving ahead with full sensitivity to the farmer movement limited to Punjab and Haryana. Time and again, promises are being made to resolve every issue that may make the farmers apprehensive. But the insistence on repeal of all three agricultural laws directly by the farmers continues. The matter is not ending here. There have talk of swearing the BJP not to vote at the agitation sites. To continue the agitation till 2024. To somehow topple the BJP government in Haryana. Due to which its political face is becoming completely clear. Almost the same thing was being done during the movement against CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act).

Sonia, Rahul had advocated contract farming, now protesting

Recently, it was also revealed that the farmers leaders Rakesh Tikait and Bhakiu Mann had initially supported this law and then turned to save their political land. At the same time, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi openly advocated contract farming. Now the same is being opposed.

Movement disconnected from society due to the stubbornness of protesters

The moral force of the government is further increased by the fact that the farmers’ organizations are neither agreeing to mediation nor positive about the decision of the court. The court had talked of forming a committee. But the attitude of the farmers’ organizations is reversed. Obviously, it is not even digesting the general public whether some people can gather and challenge the decision of Parliament in this way.

Can the method of challenge be out of court? In the midst of the peasant movement, in many states, the people have voted the BJP the most.
