The company’s data has threatened with the zoom app

Google’s security team has said that we have informed the employees that they will no longer use the zoom desktop app. We have taken this step because the zoom app has not met our security standards. It also threatens our essential data. The team further said that if employees want to make video calling with their friends or family members, then they can use this app.

Space X had previously banned the zoom app

Before Google, Elon Musk’s company Space X banned the zoom app. Also, the company had ordered employees not to use this app. At the same time, the company said that we had taken this step, keeping in mind the security of the company’s data.

CERT issued an advisory regarding the use of zoom app

India’s Computer Emergency Response Team and the National Cyber-Security Agency have issued a warning on the security of popular video conferencing app Zoom.
CERT-In had said that the zoom app could create cyber attacks. Through this app, cybercriminals can steal data from government and private offices and misuse it. CERT further noted that there is a risk of data leakage with the zoom app.

Create a secure password:

The agency has suggested some measures to increase the security of meetings held from zoom. In this, the zoom software has to keep updated. Apart from this, it has always asked to create such a strong password for all the meetings and webinars, which is very complicated; it cannot guess.
