There will not be more than 10 people in the yatra of public mandals while bringing Bappa at home. According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in the guidelines issued on Tuesday, only 5 people are allowed for household Ganpati. IT is mandatory to take both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and complete 15 days after taking the second dose for visitors.
In view of a rise in the number of new cases of coronavirus infections and fear for the third wave, the BMC has appealed to citizens to celebrate the festival with simplicity. People are disappointed for not being able to celebrate Ganeshotsav with full excitement and fire. But on another hand also relieved to be able to celebrate at least, unlike last year.
