A group of IIT Guwahati students has developed a drone that has an Automated Sprayer. Through this, a much larger area can be sanitized. Road, park, and footpath can be sanitized using this.

These students have approached the government of Assam and Uttarakhand. They say that through this drone, the work which will be completed by one person in one and a half days, it can be completed in 15 minutes.

According to Anant Mittal, a student of civil engineering at IIT Guwahati, this sprayer can be run and monitored through any one operator. The operator can sit in one place and monitor it. This can also lead to video recording.

He said that since many people are not required to run it, social distancing also remains. This drone is also crash-proof, as well as adjusting itself according to the high places.

To sanitize this, on Google Maps, we can select the road or area and in three kilometres of the signal area, it can be sanitized. The drone can sanitize 1.2 hectares in a one-time flight and more than 60 hectares in a day. Mittal said that a single drone can work equivalent to 20 workers alone.

Let us know that more than 1200 people have been found infected with the Coronavirus in the whole country, whereas in the world this figure has crossed seven lakhs.
