The Indian team has defeated West Indies by 44 runs in the second ODI at their own home. With this, the three-match series has captured 2-0. The Indian team has defeated the West Indies team in their home for the 7th consecutive and 11th consecutive series overall.
Along with winning this series, Team India has also equaled the world record of defeating any one team in ODI cricket for the most number of times in bilateral series 11 times. Earlier this record was only in the name of Pakistan, which has defeated Zimbabwe in 11 consecutive series.

The third ODI of the series will played on February 11.
Batting first after losing the toss in the second ODI, the Indian team scored 237 for 9 wickets. In reply, West Indies team could only score 193 runs in 46 overs and lost the match by 44 runs. For Team India, fast bowler famous Krishna took the maximum 4 wickets. Now the third and last match of this series will be played on 11 February. All the matches are being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
