They can also book cabs from the app after registering through OTP, by entering their pickup and drop location. The nearest cab will be sent to serve automatically. This service is available 24 hours.
The national capital Corona is going through a fourth wave of epidemic. Meanwhile, Jeevan Seva App (a mobile application) is proving to be a liberator for Covid patients in Delhi. Last year during the peak of Covid-19, Delhi government launched Jeevan Seva app in November. The aim was to make medical travel easier for people living in home isolation. Many Covid patients have already benefited from this service. This year also this app is working.
The purpose of this app is to help Covid-19 patients and their families in Delhi to get a clean electric vehicle (EV) for their safe commute to a health care facility under home isolation. There are 160 world-class EV cabs operating on the roads 24 hours at this time. The app provides a dedicated EV cab service to help patients commute for treatment from any place in Delhi and it is absolutely free of charge.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has appealed to use this service when needed. With this app, one will get access to a properly clean e-vehicle which will provide free transportation to nearby health facilities. This process is all digital and will give patients a touch-free convenient drive. Travel details including the name, number and location of the patient will be automatically stored in the database and shared with the health department on a daily basis.
