Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is in a different style in his fourth innings. The first incident of exposure to leadership in Shivraj Singh Chauhan is very interesting. Shivraj’s village Jait is in Budhni in Sehore district near the capital Bhopal. In 1975, he became the student union president of Model Higher Secondary School in Bhopal. Opposed to the Emergency, He imprisoned in the Bhopal jail in 1976-77. Chauhan’s political innings have been associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh volunteer since 1977. In 1977, as the organization minister of Vidyarthi Parishad, he stepped into student politics and was the state president of BJYM from 1988 to 91 while holding various posts. In 1990, he became MLA from Budhni for the first time, then for the first time from Vidisha in 91. Chauhan became the MP from 96, 98 and for the fourth time in 1999.
During this time he associated with various committees of the government. Also played an active role in various positions in the organization. Convenor of All India Kesharia Vahini in 1991-92, General Secretary of All India Janata Yuva Morcha in 92, State General Secretary of BJP from 92-94. He was the National President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha from 2000 to 03. Appointed state president of BJP in Madhya Pradesh in 2005.
