Mahesh Babu pens an emotional note for his brother
The untimely demise of actor-producer Ramesh Babu left the Telugu film industry in shock. He breathed his last on Saturday night on the way to the hospital because of cardiac arrest. He was 56.
Ramesh Babu’s last rites took place at Mahaprasthanam on Sunday afternoon. But sadly, Superstar Mahesh Babu, the younger brother of the deceased filmmaker, could not attend the last rites due to testing positive for Covid-19.
Mourning the demise of his elder brother, the Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor penned an emotional note on social media. Sharing a throwback photo of Ramesh Babu, Mahesh wrote, “You have been my inspiration, you have been my strength, you have been my courage, you have been my everything. If not for you, I would not have been half of the man I am today. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. Now just rest… rest… In this life and if at all I have another, you’ll always be my ‘Annaya’. Love you forever and ever and ever.”
For the unversed, Ramesh had bankrolled some of Mahesh Babu’s movies like Arjun and Athidhi. Meanwhile, other family members attended the last rites. Ramesh Babu’s parents, veteran actor Krishna and Indira Devi, saw his mortal remains at Padmayala Studios.
