BMW has announced the launch of the new X3 Facelift SUV in the Indian market. Prices start at ₹59.90 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the latest model X3 xDrive30i SportX Plus trim. While the X3 xDrive30i M Sport is priced at Rs 65.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new car has come with a more attractive and new look than before. The new car gets more modern features and an updated infotainment system.
The car will made locally in India in two petrol variants. The car will made available across all authorized BMW dealerships from Thursday. The diesel variant of the new X3 will launched at a later stage.
Engine and Speed.
The new BMW X3 car gets a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine. This engine generates maximum power of 185 kW / 252 hp and maximum torque of 350 Nm at 1,450 – 4,800 rpm. This engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic Steptronic Sport transmission. This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds. The top speed of the car is 235 kmph.
Features.
The new BMW X3 SUV is offer with adaptive suspension with individually electronically controll dampers. Apart from this, it also gets steering wheel paddle shifters, cruise control with braking function and automatic differential brake (ADB) with electronic differential lock as standard. It is also equipped with BMW Performance Control System which enhances the stability of the vehicle by targeted braking of the wheels.
Safety Features.
For safety, the car comes with features like 6 airbags, Attention Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). These include cornering brake control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounting and integrated emergency spare wheel under the load floor.
