MG Motor India on Monday announced the worldwide launch of the successful all-new MG ZS EV 2022. The all-new MG ZS EV 2022 is fully equipped with advanced technology along with the largest 50.3 kWh battery in its segment. It gives a certified range of 461 km on a single charge. The all-new ZS EV is available in 2 variants – Excite and Exclusive.
Fantastic features.
The all-new Z-S EV has revamped with great design elements. It gets a first in its segment with comfortable and premium interiors, Dual Pen Panoramic Skyroof, Digital Bluetooth Key, Rear Drive Assist, 360 Degree Camera, i-Smart with over 75 connected features. It is powered by worldwide certified (ASIL-D, IP-69K and UL 2580) batteries that have passed 8 specific safety tests. Including tests related to fire, collision, dust, soil and smoke.
New and best technology.
The current ZS EV already has a relatively long list of new features. These features are inbuilt in the car. It is a 17.78 cm (7.0 in) LCD screen throughout the digital cluster, It gets 10.1-inch HD touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, 5 USB ports along with 2 Type C charging ports, It controls the temperature with auto AC and PM 2.5 filter. It also includes a modern i-Smart connectivity system with over 75 features to make the ride smart. The all-new ZS EV also includes Digital Bluetooth. This allows consumers to drive without a key in select cases.
Strong safety features.
The all-new ZS EV features 6 airbags, 360 degree cameras and hill descent control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) for balanced driving in a comfortable environment to ensure overall safety of the passengers. The all-new ZS EV gets Rear Drive Assist features. Which further enhances the safety of the driver as well as the passengers. It also includes the Blind Spot Detection feature (BSD). Which helps in detecting sudden oncoming vehicles on the road, which are not visible from the rear rear mirror. It also includes a Lane Change Assist feature, which alerts the driver of a possible accident while changing lanes. It has a feature of Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which identifies vehicles coming from behind, right or left. While driving, these vehicles stay away from the range of the reverse camera and rear parking sensors.
Bigger, stronger and safer battery.
The all-new ZS EV will now come with the largest in its segment 50.3 kWH Advanced Technology battery that meets IP-69K and ASIL-D best safety standards. It is equipped with a new powerful motor, which gives the vehicle the best power of 176 PS. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.5 seconds. This battery has gone through 8 special safety tests. It has also got the global certification of UL2580.

Look and Design.
The all-new ZS EV adopts MG’s distinctive design cues from across the globe. This includes a new electric-designed grille along with 17-inch Tomahawk hub design alloy wheels. This not only gives excellent maneuverability, but also gives a new look to the car. The full LED Hawkeye headlamps and the new LED tail lamps captivate the onlookers and give it a fresh look, leaving a lasting impression on the onlookers.

The company says that the all-new Z EV has designed keeping the convenience of the consumers at the center. The comfortable and comfortable cabin with advanced features of the EV has beautifully revamped with luxury features. The car is available in 4 different exterior color variants – Ferris White, Current Red, Ashen Silver and Sable Black.

MG Motor has taken several conscious steps to strengthen the electric vehicle infrastructure in India. Recently the brand has launched ‘MG Charge’, in which 1000 AC fast chargers will be installed in residential colonies across the country. MG has partnered with Fortum, Delta, eChargebase, Xicom, Electrify and Tata Power to manufacture AC and DC fast chargers across the country.

The all-new ZS EV is covered with MG eShield for the private consumer. Under the MGE Shield cover, the car makers offer a free 5-year warranty for unlimited kms. There is a warranty of 8 years or 1.5 lakh km on the battery pack system. 24 Hour Roadside Assistance (RSA) for 5 years and Labor Free Services for 5 years in case of vehicle breakdown on the road.
