Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Kolkata today on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The PM will also address the inauguration ceremony of ‘Parakram Divas’ to held at Victoria Memorial in South Kolkata. Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also invited to the event. PM has also informed about his tour by tweeting.

It is worth mentioning that the Central Government is celebrating Netaji’s birth anniversary as a day of valor, while the Mamta government of the state is celebrating this day as Deshnaik Day. During this time, PM Modi will also inaugurate two new galleries at Victoria Memorial. A gallery has prepared for Netaji, which has named as Nirbhi Subhash and another gallery has prepared for other freedom fighters of the country.

According to the information, after reaching the Kolkata airport by PM Modi special aircraft, the PM will land at the helipad at the race course in a helicopter at three o’clock in the afternoon and before that he will reach the National Library, where he will inaugurate many programs and picture shows. After this, Victoria Memorial will arrive at five o’clock in the evening. Security has beefed up across the city in view of PM’s visit.
