Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 35 Pressure Swing Adoption (PSA) Oxygen Plants set up from the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief Fund (PM Cares Fund) in 35 states and union territories of the country today (Thursday). The Prime Minister himself has given this information by tweeting. The inaugural ceremony has organized at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

“I will be in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand tomorrow, 7th October. 35 PSA oxygen plants in various states and union territories will dedicated to the nation. This is an important healthcare infrastructure for the larger public benefit.”
On this occasion, the PM Modi will also address the gathering present there.
The PMO said that so far a total of 1224 PSA oxygen plants in the country have been provided funds from the PM Cares Fund. Out of these, 1100 PSA oxygen plants have been established and more than 1750 metric tonnes of oxygen will be available daily.

The PMO said that setting up of PSA oxygen plants in all the districts of the country. Facing the complex challenges of mountainous, insular and difficult terrains.
More than 7000 personnel have trained to ensure the operation of these PSA oxygen plants. These plants will also monitored with the help of technology. The PMO said that Uttarakhand Governor Gurmeet Singh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will also be present on the occasion.
During this, along with the PM protocol, the Covid protocol should also taken care of.
Ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached AIIMS Rishikesh on Wednesday to take stock of the preparations. While inspecting the venue, the Chief Minister took detailed information about the arrangements from the AIIMS administration and officials. Said that all the arrangements should completed before time. He said that during this time, along with the protocol of the Prime Minister. The Covid protocol should also taken care of.
During this, while interacting with the media. Dhami thanked the Prime Minister for choosing Rishikesh to inaugurate oxygen plants across the country. He said, “It is a matter of good fortune for us that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is inaugurating various oxygen plants of the country including Uttarakhand from Devbhoomi.”
Dhami said that the PM Modi has a special attachment to Uttarakhand
And as a result of this, he has given the state the all-weather road, Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line, strengthening of air connectivity through Udaan scheme and reconstruction of Kedarnath.
The Chief Minister said that whenever the Prime Minister comes to Dev Bhoomi. We all get new energy to do public service. He said that this visit of the Prime Minister will prove to be very beneficial for the development of Uttarakhand.
