Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Lucknow on the morning of October 5 to inaugurate a three-day event on the theme of ‘New Urban India’ at the Indira Gandhi Foundation here as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ programme. PM Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 75 projects worth 4737 crores. Along with this, 75 electric buses will flagged off. PM Modi will also release a table book of 75 successful projects of 10 smart cities of UP. Vidhan Sabha elections are to held in UP in 2022. In such a situation it is believe that now PM Modi will definitely visit UP at least once every month. PM Modi had just come to Varanasi in July and visited Aligarh in September.

Will inaugurate the program based on the theme ‘New Urban India’ in Lucknow
Urban Development Minister Ashutosh Tandon said on Sunday that Modi will inaugurate the program based on the theme ‘New Urban India’ on October 5 at 10.30 am. Tandon said that the city development ministers and key officials of all the states have been invited in this three-day long program and the consent of ministers and officials of many states has also been reached. He informed that after the inaugural session there will be seminars and webinars on various subjects.
The Minister said that on the theme ‘New Urban India’, stalls of projects like Swachh Bharat Mission, AMRUT Mission, Smart City, Urban Transport etc. will be put up and 75 new housing technologies will be on display in the 75th year of independence. In this program, a film related to the achievements so far in various urban missions (Amrit Mission, Smart City, Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Shahari Awas Yojana) of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs will screened.
Strategies adopted in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will also be discuss.
The Urban Development Minister informed that Modi will also lay the foundation stone and inaugurate 75 projects worth Rs 4737 crore in Uttar Pradesh, besides transferring keys through digital medium to 75,000 beneficiaries of 75 districts of the state under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Various sessions will organized in this program which will run from October 5 to October 7. Apart from this, the strategies adopted in housing reforms and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Uttar Pradesh will also discussed.
