PM Modi’s announcement on 75th Independence Day, now girls will also be able to study in Sainik School.

Sainik School For Girls : Country is celebrating 75th Independence Day. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the tricolor and addressed the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort. On this occasion, PM Modi told the country that the doors of Sainik School will also opened for girls. He said that messages were being receive from lakhs of daughters of the country regarding this. PM Modi said in his address, ‘Today I am sharing a happiness with the countrymen. I used to get messages from lakhs of daughters that they too want to study in Sainik School. The doors of Sainik School should opened for them also.

PM Modi said that now girls will also be able to study in Sainik School.

PM Modi said, two and a half years ago, for the first time in the Sainik School of Mizoram, the experiment of giving admission to daughters was done. Now the government has decided that all the Sainik Schools in the country will be opened for the daughters of the country.

Let us inform that at present 33 Sainik Schools are being operated in the country. They are administered through the Sainik School Society under the Ministry of Defence. The reason behind the introduction of Sainik Schools is to prepare the students for entry into the Armed Forces at an early age.
