Shark Tank India: Sharks praised Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, transgender for giving her community access plentiful employment

In a video of Season 1 Unseen Pitches that Shark Tank India has made available, social activist and transgender person Laxmi Narayan Tripathi introduces her water brand alongside longtime supporter Manish Jain. Despite failing to secure the deal, she dazzled the Sharks with her brand’s vision and inspiration.

Laxmi mentioned how her water company has given transgender people who would typically beg on the streets or engage in prostitution work. They have at last discovered a chance to prosper financially by operating ethically through the brand. Laxmi wanted to expand the company, make it one of the top water-producing brands in the nation, and give her neighborhood more jobs.

Laxmi also thanked the Sharks for giving her the chance to promote her company on the reality TV program. She launched the company in 2018, and since then, it has garnered numerous honors and awards. Over 4 million people have watched the YouTube video of their pitch, praising her brand.

Although Laxmi and Manish were unable to reach an agreement with the Sharks, Namita Thapar decided to assist Laxmi by providing more employment opportunities. Her HR Team contacted Laxmi to offer assistance with the employment structure and even to help her scale up her business.

Laxmi Narayan Tripathi became well-known after appearing on Shark Tank India, but she already well-known because she had appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show while the movie Laxmii, starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani, promoted. She is the Head Priestess of the International Kinnar Akhada in Delhi and a social activist.

Aryan Pasha, India’s first transgender bodybuilder, and Laxmi became friends in 2019. In 2019, they got engaged. She has made numerous contributions to the growth of the trans community. She has won numerous awards, including the Mahatma Gandhi Samman, the Best CSR Initiative Award.
