Telegram launches two new web apps with improved features and design

The popular messaging app Telegram has launched not one but two web apps. The messaging app always had a web app, but it was not as popular as the mobile app it has become in the last few months. They were somewhat prominent in the previous web app as it hardly received any update, unlike mobile. However, now the company has launched two different apps – Telegram WebK and Telegram Webz.
The web version of Telegram lacked some basic features. Users could not send something as a sticker to a messaging app and make a video call. But new web apps are here to fill the void. It is unclear why Telegram launched two different apps instead of launching one with all the features. From the looks of it, the app feels similar to each other. And, of course, you can send stickers using both versions of the app.

According to reports, WebK and Webz have two different developers but both function in the same way. However, you will see quite a minute difference in the user interface of the two apps. For example, you can mute calls in the WebK version of the app but cannot do so in the WebZ version because there is no mute button. WebK has a search bar in white, while Web Z has a gray search bar. There are many small differences if you give in-depth.
However, an important feature is that Telegram’s web apps do not have the ability to make voice calls. Interestingly, Telegram’s rival WhatsApp introduced the feature to its web users a few months ago. However, Telegram may release an update soon, but until then you can check the revised web app on Telegram’s official website. You’ll find links to all versions of Telegram, including desktop apps, web apps, mobile apps, and more.

Earlier, a TestingCost report said that Telegram is testing the ability to schedule voice chat across channels. So far, the feature is available in the beta version, but the company may soon release the feature with a Telegram v7.7.0 update.
