Indian athletes continue their stellar performance in the Tokyo Paralympics. Indian parachuters did wonders in shooting on Saturday. Manish Narwal won gold in P4 Mixed 50m Pistol SH-1. He finished first in the final with a score of 218.2. The special thing is that in this event, at number two, Indian athlete Singhraj came second and won silver.

Manish decided to pursue a career in shooting in 2016 on the advice of his father and colleagues. Narwal started shooting in Faridabad, Haryana. After that he never looked back. Narwal has won many national and international competitions.

Manish is a resident of Sonipat. However, his father Dilbag Singh had moved to Faridabad many years ago and started living there. Manish won a gold and a bronze medal in the 10m and 50m events at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta.

Manish reiterated his stellar form at the 2019 World Championships in Sydney. He won the bronze medal in three of the events he participated in. Narwal achieved 229.1 points in the 2021 Parachuting World Cup, breaking the world record in 10 meters.
