Maruti Suzuki Cars : 2021 may be a quarter year for Maruti Suzuki but they are planning to launch a total of 8 vehicles in 2022. One of these has even launched Celerio CNG. Today we are going to tell about all the cars that Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch this year.
Maruti Suzuki New-gen Baleno
Maruti Suzuki will launch the new generation Baleno in February 2022. The exterior design of the hatchback has already been leaked online. The manufacturer has completely revamped the exteriors and the interiors too have received a few updates. We are not expecting any major updates to the Baleno mechanically.
Maruti Suzuki XL6 Facelift
When Maruti Suzuki launched the XL6, everyone was a little skeptical as it was a heavily designed Ertiga but it is selling well. The test mule of the XL6 facelift was spotted on camouflage. It is expected to come with new bumpers and a new grille. The interiors may remain mostly the same but this time around Maruti Suzuki may add a 7-seater variant of the XL6 to the line-up.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
Maruti Suzuki is also working on updating the best selling MPV Ertiga in the Indian market. The facelift will remain mostly the same. The only change that we have seen so far is the newly updated grille which now resembles the new generation Baleno.
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
Suzuki has launched the new generation S-Cross in the global market. Now, they will launch the new medium size SUV in the Indian market. The design of the S-Cross has been updated a lot. While the previous S-Cross looked like a crossover, the new one looks like an SUV which is a good thing. It still comes with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine but the mild-hybrid technology has been upgraded from 12V to 48V.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800
The company will also update its smallest hatchback, the Alto. The facelift of the Alto 800 has been seen with an updated larger grille and new headlamps that retain the same design but are larger. New squarish tail lamps have been given at the rear. The interior is yet to be seen but the cabin could now be bigger as Maruti Suzuki may shift to the Heartect platform.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza
Maruti Suzuki will also eventually update the Brezza. It will now be called simply Brezza instead of Vitara Brezza. The design of the compact SUV has already been leaked and it is all new. At the front, there are SUV-like bumpers, new grille and new LED projector headlamps with LED daytime running lamps. Maruti Suzuki is also adding a slew of features like connected car tech, 360-degree parking camera, paddle shifters and more.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny
Jimny is that SUV whose launch most people are eagerly waiting for. The variant that will be launched in India is expected to be a 5-door one which is still under development. In terms of design, it will not be much different from the 3-door Jimny. But in terms of length, it will be 300mm longer which will give room to the manufacturer to fit proper rear doors which will make the SUV more practical.
