Turkey abolishes quarantine rules for Indians taking Covaxin-Covishield.

Indian travelers who have taken both the doses of Corona vaccine are going to get a big relief on their trip to Turkey from Monday. Indians who have taken both doses of Covishield and Covaxin will no longer have to be quarantined on their way to Turkey. A statement has issued by the Embassy of Turkey in this regard.

According to the statement, changes are being made in the quarantine rules for travelers from India and Nepal from November 15. From Monday, passengers will have to show negative RTPCR report, which should not be older than 72 hours.

Turkey gave relief to Indians who took Covaxin-Covishield.

According to the statement. Travelers taking both doses of the corona vaccine approved for emergency use by the World Health Organization or Turkey will now exempted from Turkey’s mandatory quarantine rule. However, passengers who will not able to show the vaccine certificate will have to quarantined at their residence or declared address in Turkey and on the tenth day they will have to undergo a corona test. Which will end their quarantine if they come negative.

Test report is not require for those below 12 years of age.

Turkish Ambassador Firas Sunel tweeted, ‘Travellers must submit only negative RTPCR test report and vaccination certificate. Covaxin and Covishield are both acceptable. Only negative RTPCR test report is require for children of 12 to 18 years. Test report is not require for those below 12 years of age. Let us inform that India’s indigenous vaccine Covaxin has included in its list by the World Health Organization on 3 November.
