Union Budget 2022 : Today i.e. on 1st February, the Finance Minister of India, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the annual Union Budget of the country. Keeping in mind the future of the students, a digital university has announced in the budget session. Also, major changes have made in one of the programs of the Prime Minister’s eVIDYA scheme.

Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman has present this year’s Union Budget today. In which discussions are being held regarding the announcements made in all aspects. Talking about the field of education, the Finance Minister has announced the country’s first digital university and has also made changes in the old schemes related to education.
Union Budget 2022 : Announcement of country’s first digital university
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has proposed the formation of a digital university to provide education in the country. So that the future of the students of the country can be bright. Along with this, the Finance Minister has also informed that this digital university will be built on the basis of ‘hub and spoke model’.

eVIDYA : Major Changes in Education Schemes
Also, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman has also said that the ‘One Class One TV Channel’ program of PM eVIDYA scheme will now increased from 12 to 200 TV channels. This program will incorporate many Indian languages in itself. The government says that in this way it will be easy to give education to those students who have faced loss due to Covid in their studies.
Portal will launched for job opportunities
It has also said in the budget session that the National Skill Qualification Framework will improved according to the changing needs of the industry. Along with this, an e-portal named Digital Ecosystem for Skilling and Livelihood is also being launch so that people can find better job opportunities.
