US President Donald Trump, who is seeking India’s help in the war against coronavirus, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a great leader. Donald Trump spoke to the American media on the issue of seeking hydroxychloroquine medicine from India. He said that we have decided to buy millions of doses of this medicine.

Recently, in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Donald Trump had demanded ‘hydroxychloroquine’, a drug used for malaria. Trump considers this drug useful against Corona. India has banned the export of this medicine. Reiterating this demand, US President Donald Trump had also said earlier that it would be shocking for him not to give medication to India even after a personal request as Washington has good relations with New Delhi.
The malaria drug
‘Hydroxychloroquine’ is an old and inexpensive medicine for malaria. Trump is describing it as a possible treatment for the treatment of Covid-19. More than 10,000 people have died due to infection in the US, and around three and 50,000 people have infected it. Trump had last week asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow him to send a consignment of ‘Hydroxychloroquine’ tablets, which the US ordered. India had banned its exports, given its increasing demand.
