Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan paid tribute to the well-known actor of Kannada films, Puneeth Rajkumar.

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has paid tribute to noted Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar. He said that he was shock by Puneet’s sudden departure. Puneet Rajkumar, known for films like “Appu”, “Veera Kannadiga” and “Maurya”, died at a hospital in Bengaluru on Friday following a heart attack. He was 46 years old. Puneeth Rajkumar was the son of late actor Rajkumar.

Amitabh Bachchan said in a post on his blog that

He is deeply saddened by the demise of two of his close friends – Puneeth and a family friend. He wrote, “Two close loved ones passed away today. Words cannot describe the sadness. The news of one is very shocking.

Puneeth Rajkumar was just 46 years old and we all are very shocked by this.

He further wrote, “Puneeth Rajkumar, the younger son of Kannada cinema legend Rajkumar and a star in his own right, passed away today. He was just 46 years old and we are all very shock by this. Rajkumar’s family has always been very close. My prayers and condolences.” Big B told in the blog that the other close who died was the mother of a family friend. Doctors said Puneet was rushed to Vikram Hospital after he complain of chest pain after a two-hour workout at the gym, where he died a short time later.

Many people paid tribute to Puneeth Rajkumar.

Several people, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, paid tributes to Puneeth. Many actors including actors Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu also paid tribute to Puneeth.
