Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray addressed the people of the state on Friday in view of the increasing cases of Corona. Uddhav Thackeray said that if the situation in Corona remains the same then consider putting a lockdown, this cannot be denied. The decision to lockdown is very fatal. Thackeray said that if we stop the misery, the Earth cycle will stop, if we do? Many parties are doing politics in the name of Maharashtra Lockdown. I am warning of complete lockdown. I am not announcing the lockdown right now. But if the situation does not improve then lockdown will have to be imposed. There is no bravery in not wearing a mask. After talking to the expert in a day or two, I will decide the entire lockdown in Maharashtra.
Everybody should wear a mask and follow the Covid guidelines’
Thackeray said that all of us have to fight unitedly against the Corona epidemic. The state of corona epidemic in Maharashtra is intimidating but will tell you the truth. Weddings in Maharashtra are getting more crowded. The pandemic is thus testing us in a way. Everyone should wear a mask and follow the Covid Guidelines. The corona is rising again, the danger is not yet averted, I have not come to scare you. There is a lot of crowd at weddings in Maharashtra. If the same conditions persist, the ventilators will fall short.

Lockdown will worsen economic conditions – Thackeray
CM Thackeray further said that since the beginning of March, Corona virus has emerged as a monster. The financial situation will deteriorate if the lockdown is imposed. There is no complete denial of the possibility of lockdown in Maharashtra regarding Corona. Two and a half million corona tests will be done daily in the coming days in Maharashtra. Will there be a lockdown? I will not answer it now. There are intimidating circumstances but we will not hide anything from the public. What was the benefit of the lockdown, death in Brazil and unemployment also increased.
If the situation remains the same, then we will not be able to handle Maharashtra in 15-20 days.

47,827 new cases of corona arrived in 24 hours
In the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, on Friday (April 2) 47,827 new cases of corona virus were reported while 202 more patients died. The death rate from corona in Maharashtra has reached 1.91 percent. So far, a total of 55 thousand 379 people have died due to corona in Maharashtra while there are 3.89 lakh active cases of corona in the state.
