The havoc of Corona in Kerala is not taking its name. On Friday, once again more than 32 thousand new corona cases were found here. At the same time, the positivity rate has increased to 19.22. This is the second time after the peak of the second wave of corona on May 20 that more than 30 thousand corona cases have registered in Kerala within 24 hours. Due to the rapid increase in cases, the state government has once again decided to impose Sunday lockdown.

Health Minister told home isolation responsible

The Sunday lockdown was lifted for the last two weeks due to Independence Day and Onan festival. At the same time, Kerala Health Minister Veena George has blamed home isolation for the rise of corona cases in the state in this way. He said that a large number of people are getting infect from their household members. The State Health Minister said that people are not fully following the containment rules in home isolation. Due to this, there is a huge increase in the cases of corona.

CM said that it is wrong to question the Corona management.

Meanwhile, questions have also raised on the Corona management of Kerala. State Chief Minister P. Vijayan, however, dismissed such allegations as unnecessary. He said that by making such allegations, people are weakening the fight of the people of the state with Corona. He said that by making such allegations against the state government, people want to incite people against the government. In such a situation, people will start taking the fight against Corona lightly. The Chief Minister said that not a single person had died in Kerala due to lack of oxygen. No one complained about the lack of health facilities, nor was there a shortage of beds in medical emergencies. Kerala Chief Minister P. Vijayan said those criticizing the Kerala model do not know that the second wave started late here.

The center is also keeping an eye.

On the other hand, the Union Health Secretary held a meeting with the officials of the Government of Kerala and Maharashtra on Thursday. He said that at present, the cases of Covid have increased in these two states in an uncertain manner. Apart from this, the Center suggested to impose night curfew in such areas where the positivity rate is high. Significantly, more cases of re-infection are being found in Kerala than in other states. Since the last week of July, the cases of corona are increasing rapidly here. At the same time, after Onam, once again there was talk of increasing corona cases, about which the state government had issued an alert.
