Haldiram is a significant Indian sweets and snacks manufacturer based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Haldiram has more than 100 products to date. However, the Haldiram story started in 1937 when a Gangabhishek Aggarwal began to a shop selling ‘Namkeen’ in Bikaner city of Rajasthan. It was Tansukhadas, the father of a gentleman who originally introduced ‘Bhujia’. The small setup of Gangabhishek gained the trade but newfound popularity. The name Haldiram as the story was his second name, which was carried forward by his youngest son Rameshwar Lal, who opened a shop in Calcutta, West Bengal, by the name, ‘Haldiram Bhujiawala’. The name was a move to the next success story Of Haldiram.

The company has manufacturing plants in Nagpur, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bikaner. Haldiram has its retail chain stores and several restaurants in Nagpur and Delhi. In contemporary times, Haldiram’s products exported to many countries around the world. In expansion, the company’s first manufacturing plant located in Calcutta. A large manufacturing plant set up at Nagpur in 1970. In the early 1990s, another manufacturing plant set up in New Delhi, the capital of India, which also had a retail store.

In 2003, the company began the process of developing convenience foods for marketing to consumers. In 2008, the company’s Nagpur branch headed by Shivkishan Agarwal. In 2014, according to the Brand Trust Report, Haldiram was ranked 55th among India’s most trusted brands.

Selling Bhujia in Bikaner nearly 70 years ago, Haldiram first emphasized the packaging and presentation of its ready-made snacks. A company with a turnover of Rs 400 crore and a brand valuation of Rs 1,500 crore will now be renamed Kolkata, Delhi and Nagpur divided into three factions of the family with strictly mentioned areas.
