Weather updates: People are suffering from heat all over. In many parts of central and north India, heat wave has started showing its wrath. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rains in several states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Orissa, during which winds will have a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour. According to IMD, western disturbances are occurring in the western Himalayan region. This western disturbance will last from 14 to 17 April.
Heavy rains may occur in these states
According to the Meteorological Department. There is a possibility of heavy rains with thunderstorms in most parts of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Odisha for the next 4 to 5 days. During this time, the speed of winds will be 30 to 40 km per hour. Jharkhand is also expect to receive rains in the next two days. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe and Karnataka located in the south. At the same time, dust storm and rain are expected in many areas of western Rajasthan on April 14 and 15.

Due to the Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of storm along with rain in the Western Himalayan region from 14 to 17 April. Along with this, there may be rain on April 14 in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh. Heavy rain is expect at these places on 15 April.
On April 16, some areas of Delhi may receive light rain.
Delhiites can get some relief from the heat after April 16. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may occur in some areas of Delhi on April 16 in the next week. Due to western disturbances from April 12 to 16, the sky may remain cloudy. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Bihar’s capital Patna on the 14th.
